			<blockTitle>內容簡介：</blockTitle>
<textContent>The class is designed to integrate the daily practice and daily life with the teachings from the Pali Cannon sutras through sutra studies, discussion, and sharing among classmates. The ancient teachings from Sutras offer core instructions of the practices and illustrate key doctrines behind the practice. The daily life is where these teachings live for everyone. We hope that this form of integration will help classmates to understand the teachings as well as applying Buddha's teachings to gain real benefits. <br/><br/>
The class syllabus is often organized around the core teachings from the Sutras, such as Virtue, Concentration, and Wisdom, or the four noble truths, etc., throughout the year. A set of sutras are selected from the core text books or related material initially by the class leads. All classmates can also pick up his/her favorite sutras or stories from within or outside of the core text books on the topic, e.g., precepts, and bring to the class to share. Each topic will be led by one classmate. The topic can be discussed in one class or multiple classes, depending on the class interest. The lead can also draw his/her own material to discuss a given topic. The rest of the class will contribute via discussions and sharing. <br/><br/>
In addition to the dedicated sutra discussions and studies, the class also organizes several dedicated reviews and sharing sessions to provide additional time for the classmates to exchange ideas and bound as a Sangha. There are normally 2-4 such sharing sessions a year, coupled with potlucks.</textContent>
