Dharma Life Study Group will study "Lecture Notes on
Mula-madhyamaka-karika (Middle Way Analysis)" (中觀論頌講記) by Venerable
Yin4-Shun4 every other Saturday morning from
9:30-11:30AM.Mula-madhyamaka-karika is the tour de force of Nagarjuna on
dependent origination and emptiness. Nagarjuna is the most important
Mahayana Buddhist philosopher after the Buddha. Middle Way harmonizes the
difference between Theravada and Mahayana Buddhism by
showing dependent origination implies emptiness and vice versa, and
it is essential to understand the profound teachings in Prajna-paramita
Sutras.
